Introducing VAL — reminiscent of days spent in the garden with my Grandmother Valerie, known to her family and friends as Val. A quiet devotion to her Roses, she taught me to care without rushing, gentle in her touch and sway.

Each Posie candle is hand-poured with as much care possible with every effort made to ensure consistency.
•Alwaystrim your wick to 5mm before lighting your candle to ensure you receive the maximum burn time.
• When burning your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt until it reaches the edges of your vessel before extinguishing. This will create a candle memory and clean and even burn.
• Never leave your candle burning longer than 2-3 hours at a time.
• Discontinue use when the wax reaches 1-1.5cm from the bottom of your vessel.
• After use when the wax has cooled and re set, trim your wick to 5mm again before relighting to avoid 'mushrooming' of the wick.
GENERAL CARE
• Never leave your burning candle unattended • Burn your candle on a heat resistant surface • Never move your candle while lit • Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight
Soy wax candles can be sensitive, please store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive temperatures.
REUSE YOUR VESSEL
When finished burning your candle, simply wash out any left over soy wax with hot water and detergent to use for whatever you wish!
I couldn't resist this candle. I got one for my sister too to remind us of our late mother, and so we could light a candle on her birthday 8 March. The scent reminds us of the roses she planted in her garden. It's a deep musky attar scent, like old roses. I loved that the creator of this candle also named it Val to commemorate her mother and her love of roses. They are beautiful evocative scents, which last and diffuse beautifully.

It's nice but for my the top note of rose is too strong and overpowers the other smells

I like to light to in a small room it’s different to my usual favs SUR and UME. Very soothing!
